A few recent sessions....

I love outdoor photography with little ones! Enjoy the sneak peeks Whitney, Trish and Valerie:)

First up is 6 month old Beth. She is a Leaps & Bounds member and a beautiful baby girl.


Next up is baby Dustin. He is also 6 months old and his mommy is a good friend of mine. His daddy is a farmer and we shot these in front of one of the corn fields. I love these 6 month old babies!



This is Miss Lynlee and she is 9 months old. I did this session today and the weather couldn't have been more perfect! What a doll...

And we can't forget about Big Brother Wade...
Last but not least is a session with 3 1/2 year old triplets. I've had the pleasure of documenting the lives of Kamryn, Maggie and Logan since they were newborns and I love watching them grow up. Aren't they sweet?

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe I haven't posted on my blog since April! It has been a super BUSY summer and I have enjoyed every second of it:) Let's see......I volunteered in summer school a little, took pictures for the entire Bloomfield Ball League, got to take a girls trip to Chicago with two of my very best friends, spent lots of time at the swimming pool, went to Tan-tar-a for a kdg conference and ended the summer with a trip to Gulf Shores, Alabama. ~WOW~ FUN TIMES, that's for sure!!!!

What I love best about summer is sleeping in with my kiddos and our daily visits to the swimming pool at the big ole Bloomfield Country Club:) It's also nice to get to recharge my batteries and get ready for a brand new bunch of Kindergartners in August, too. Even though I am super sad to see summer come to an end, I am in need of routine and my kids are, too.

I am scheduling appointments for the fall and will start getting my Christmas information out there soon. It will be here before we know it! My husband has a crazy work schedule going on the next few months and I am having to schedule sessions around his days off. Please be patient with me as this isn't an easy task sometimes:)

I will end this post with a few pictures of our beach vacation. We were fortunate enough to swap a session with a photographer from New Orleans. Update

Well, on Saturday evening my little girl fell and broke her collar bone! It has been a crazy week at our house, for sure! Even though she is feeling better, she still isn't able to go full force as usual.

With that being said, I am not taking any new appointments until the beginning of May. I've had the opportunity recently to photograph numerous sports teams, the seniors of BHS, and coming up is the BHS prom... and regular sessions on top of all that! To take on this load and to do it well requires more time and preparation on my end that is not allowing me to accept any more appointments for April. If you are interested in getting a session, contact me as soon as possible.

Easter Bunny Sessions

Here are a few sneak peek's from the bunny sessions! I still have more to add when I am finished proofing......

For all of you that had an Easter session, I hope to have your proofs online by Friday evening. Once they are posted, you need to let me know ASAP which picture you want to choose for your package if you want it in before Easter.

Easter Bunny Sessions!

I will be open from 9:00am - 3:00p.m. on Saturday, March 21st for some bunny pictures! Come and meet our guests "Milk" and "Cookies". Come in your finest Easter fashions and bring your favorite basket for a special session with the bunnies.

These sessions will be quick and painless! No appointment is necessary. I just ask that you give me a call or shoot me an email if you are interested and plan on coming. My email address is: jdodd3@sbcglobal.net and you can reach me by phone at 568-2503. You will get a few shots to choose from with this mini session and a few packages are available.

Package #1 $75.00
A digital image of your choice on a CD with copyright release for you to print at any lab of your choice.

Package #2 $65.00
1 - 8x10
2 - 5x7
16 wallets

Package #3 $50.00
2 - 5x7
4 - 4x6
8 wallets

All of these packages include the sitting fee. Package must be paid in full at the day of your mini session. You can order as many packages as you wish. ALL PACKAGES WILL INCLUDE ONE IMAGE ONLY. You can choose your image the day of your session. Pictures will be in before Easter.

Birthday Savings from me to you!

I have been told by many how I haven't updated my blog since Christmas....I'm so sorry everyone! My, how the time has flown since then.

The New Year started out a little crazy for me as I am in a women's volleyball league. To make a long story short, as I was jumping to spike the ball I heard a loud pop in my leg and felt pain. I partially tore my calf muscle and have had to have physical therapy on that for the past 3 weeks. I am now finally good to go to finish the volleyball season on the night of my birthday.....which brings me to this post.....

If you have a session in March you will get 10.00 off your sitting fee and a set of 8 wallets (of the photographer's choice) in honor of my birthday! I will be turning the big 3-4 on Tuesday, February 24. Happy Birthday to me and enjoy in my birthday savings for the month of March.

I will also be offering Easter specials soon. I am having live bunnies this year and will post available dates for those mini sessions.
